the President of Tanzania, Mrs. Samia Suluhu Hassan, went to the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Dar es Salaam on Friday and offered her condolences to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, the nation, and the government of Iran for the martyrdom of the President and his companions.
The President of Tanzania said: Despite the martyrdom of the former President of Iran and his companions, Tanzania shares with the Iranian nation and prays for the bereaved families.
Youssef Makamba, the foreign minister of Tanzania, accompanied the president and condoled the martyrdom of Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the former foreign minister of Iran, along with Ebrahim Raisi.
During a meeting with Hossein Alwandi, Iran’s ambassador to Tanzania, Samia Suluhu Hassan expressed hope for a peaceful transition of power and the prompt establishment of Iran’s new government.
“While expressing his profound condolences for the loss of the President of Iran, the President of Tanzania stated that following the formation of Iran’s new government, a meeting between the Presidents of the two countries will be scheduled in Tehran and Dar es Salaam.”
